#DaléTwitterMiami, or should I say, #TwitterWantsToConquerTheLatinAmericanMarket?

Twitter officially opened offices in Miami earlier this week with six employees commanded by Twitter Latin America VP Guilherme Ribenboim. The Miami Herald reported that the office will “support large and mid-market sales, media partnerships, marketing communications and brand strategy.”

The Brazilian executive leads sales operations and partnerships in Latin America, overseeing over 100 employees in Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia, according to the newspaper.

“Miami is now a reference point in tech and a natural bridge with Latin America,” Marco Botero,Twitter Miami head of sales, told EFE in an interview in Spanish. “Our mission in Miami is to help those companies that want to grow the value of their brand in Latin America to connect with the consumers in the region, to take their message using the tools provided by our platform.”
