Saints Row: The Third – Enter The Dominatrix adds “freaking super powers”

THQ announced Saints Row: The Third – Enter The Dominatrix, a standalone expansion for their over-the-top, dildo-sword-swinging open-world game.

Enter the Dominatrix adds super powers to the player’s arsenal of ridiculous abilities. The plot picks up right after the events of Saints Row: The Third and involves evil aliens who trap the Saints leader inside the Dominatrix, a virtual version of the title’s city, Steelport. Saints Row: The Third was THQ’s only smash hit in the fall season, and its sales have boosted THQ’s revenues higher than previous expectations.

“With a franchise with more than 11 million units shipped globally, it’s incredibly gratifying to have the flexibility to give Saints Row fans the features they want most,” said Executive Vice President of Core Game Productions Danny Bilson in a press release sent to GamesBeat.

THQ will release the standalone expansion this fall for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC for $29.99.
