ooVoo

Social video-chat company ooVoo has added 7 million subscribers in the past 100 days, an impressive increase of 1 million users every two weeks, the company announced today.

New York City-based ooVoo offers people 12-way video chat across Facebook, web, desktop, iOS, and Android applications. The company saw substantial growth this summer, a sign that its 12-way video chat app for Facebook and iPad has found a receptive audience.

And a young audience at that. Notably, ooVoo claims that 65 percent of its 58 million users worldwide are under 25 years old, while 55 percent of its U.S. subscribers are under that age.
