Popular photo-sharing service Instagram has finally started to roll out web profiles, making it much easier to see your friends’ filter-fied photos on the web.
Facebook-owned Instagram has relied on its mobile app presence for people to look at each other’s profiles and photos. Today, when you share a link to an Instagram photo on Facebook or Twitter, you can look at that photo on the web but not look see all of the photos that person has posted beforehand. But that’s about to change.
The rollout of web profiles will begin today and will reach Instagram’s more than 100 million users in the “coming days.”

“People have been asking for this for a while now and we’re excited to finally start rolling [profiles] out,” Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom told VentureBeat via email. “We’re going to start out by launching to a small percentage of people today and will roll it out slowly to everyone in the coming days.”
Instagram has been killing it as of late. In August, 22 million unique visitors cumulatively spent more than 5.65 billion minutes using the service on mobile devices. Additionally, 54 of the world’s largest 100 brands — including Nike, Gucci, and Starbucks — are now connecting with fans via Instagram.
