Roku has added two new channels to its vast library that should make music fans very happy.
Available today is a new channel for music video site Vevo, which accounts for the bulk of music videos and performances on YouTube. The channel allows you to sync up your Vevo account to gain access to all your saved videos and playlists. And if that wasn’t enough, Roku owners will now be able to use ultra popular streaming music service Spotify on the set-top box.
Previously, Spotify was only available on the (now discontinued) Boxee Box and WD Live set-top boxes. However, with Roku being much more popular, this will undoubtedly be a big win for Spotify subscribers.
