Nintendo held one of its semiregular Nintendo Direct streaming-video shows today and revealed a ton of news. You can see all of our coverage of today’s event here.
Here’s a quick look at all of the new trailers that Nintendo released today.
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
This life simulator finally has a date. Nintendo will release Animal Crossing: New Leaf in North America on June 9 for the 3DS. This time, instead of paying back a loan, gamers will have to run the town as its mayor.
Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move
Nintendo’s ape-versus-plumber puzzle series is back for some 3D action. The wind-up-toy versions of Mario and Donkey Kong return along with a variety of new and old puzzles. The game is due out on the 3DS eShop this year.
HarmoKnight
Head to Melodia, a planet of music in this 2D, side-scrolling rhythm game. This is the newest game from Pokémon developer Game Freak. It plays a lot like a platform version of Rhythm Heaven.
Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins
This is the prequel to Lego City: Undercover for the Wii U and other consoles. The Chase Begins brings the open-world, kid-friendly cop game to the 3DS. It’s basically Grand Theft Auto for people who aren’t allowed to play Grand Theft Auto.
Kersploosh!
Kersploosh! asks the timeless question, what happens when you drop a stone down a well? Apparently, donuts and matryoshka dolls happen.
Fire Emblem: Awakening accolades trailer
Reviewers love this 3DS strategy game (including GamesBeat, which gave it a 94), so Nintendo is strutting its stuff in a trailer that shows off all the accolades.
