Apple software engineering VP Craig Federighi said that Apple has made a lot improvements to Maps with its arrival on OS X, which is expected this fall.
For one, the new Maps app will now send directions to your phone after you’ve looked them up, which should make owners of Macs and iPhones particularly glad (assuming the Maps directions are accurate, that is.)
