GitHub adds licensing tool, mobile web views

GitHub is shipping ’em like crazy this Monday morning with new tools for easy software licensing and smartphone coding.

The open source licensing site can be found at ChooseALicense.com. You can get the skinny in simple language and choose between GPL, Apache, and MIT licenses. Or no licenses at all.

And of course, the site itself is open source.

I feel compelled to share Richard Stallman’s Free Software Song right now:

The mobile web view news includes a slew of improvements for checking out your repos, pull requests, issues, and more. The pages have small file sizes to make for faster working.
