Disney’s game division is launching the adventure game Disney Hidden Worlds for Facebook and mobile devices today.
Just in time for the holidays, Disney’s new free-to-play app lets players explore the worlds of Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and Tangled. It features still scenes where players have to find objects that are hidden in the landscape.
The title is another in a long line of hidden-object games from Disney’s Playdom division, which made the hit game Gardens of Time on Facebook. Disney acquired Playdom in 2010 for $763.2 million.
Disney has been rolling out of a bunch of mobile titles this fall as it tries to grab more of the fast-growing mobile game market with the power of its brands. The company recently launched Club Penguin on the iPad and Star Wars: Tiny Death Star.

Disney has opened its vault of animations for Disney Hidden Worlds. In the game, a mysterious villain brings darkness and chaos to the various kingdoms. Crucial objects are missing, and it’s up to the players with their guide Chrona to search the iconic Disney scenes for the missing gear. More animated worlds will come in the future.
The game is available on Facebook, Android, and iOS.
