If it has a screen and access to the World Wide Web, people will use it to watch pornography.

This is true for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 home gaming consoles as well. Although it turns out that far more people with the latest Sony console are watching adult films than their Microsoft-owning counterparts, according to porn website SugarDVD (via Buzzfeed).

The company, which bills itself as the Netflix of porn, revealed that nearly three times as many PlayStation 4 owners signed up for SugarDVD accounts than Xbox One owners in December. That was the first whole month that both consoles were on the market, and that’s what SugarDVD based its stats on.

The porn site wasn’t able to say why PS4 people are seemingly more randy, but the company did provide a hypothesis.

“Some are arguing the Xbox One is more of a family-oriented console, which might be contributing to the lessened porn activity,” SugarDVD spokesperson Nicole Stetter said.

That’s possible, but I think the slant of the PS4 just gets people going … so sexy. Although, you would think that navigating hands free with the Kinect mic would make for the most seamless porn-viewing experience — maybe people are uncomfortable baring their most private of privates in front of a high-definition 3D camera.

In November, SugarDVD revealed a webapp that enables both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to access its library of adult titles using their built in web browsers. A subscription will give customers unlimited access to streaming titles like — and this isn’t safe for work — Sorority Girls 2, Bikini Paradise Amateur Xtreme, and more.
