ArcheAge

ArcheAge is a Korean massively multiplayer role-playing game (MMORPG, or just MMO). It offers traditional MMO gameplay like questing and player-versus-player combat, but it also has naval battles and farming. Check out our earlier coverage here.
Gauntlet
Platform: PC
Release date: Sept. 23
Gauntlet is a modern take on the classic 1985 arcade game that allowed four players to take the roles of wizards, warriors, and elves as they fought ghosts and demons. This new version is a similar experience with nicer graphics, online support, and other modern conveniences.
Neverending Nightmares
Platform: PC
Release date: Sept. 26
Neverending Nightmares is an independent horror game. The lead designer, Matt Gilgenbach, based it on his struggles with obsessive-compulsive disorder and depression. It also features an interesting, hand-drawn art style similar to that of famed author and illustrator Edward Gorey.
Civilization: Beyond Earth
Platform: PC
Release date: Oct. 24
Beyond Earth is a sc-fi themed spin-off of the turn-based Civilization series. Like 2010’s Civilization V, players build cities and move units across a map of hexagon-shaped spots, although the action will take place on alien worlds instead of on our own.
World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor
Platform: PC
Release date: Nov. 13
Warlords of Draenor is the fifth expansion for Blizzard’s insanely popular MMO, which originally came out way back in 2004. Draenor doesn’t add any new classes or races, but it gives players a new land and an alternate timeline to explore. It also increases the level cap from 90 to 100.
