Twenty-six years is a long time to wait for a sequel, but it looks like people still have plenty of love for overhead cameras and tactical combat.

The postapocalyptic Wasteland 2 has already earned $1.5 million after just four days of availability, via Eurogamer. This sales success follows a fruitful crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter that helped fund development of the game. It earned $2,933,252 from supporters after initially asking for $900,000.

Wasteland 2 is a sequel to a 1988 computer classic. That’s a long time to wait for a follow-up, but the original Wasteland also inspired the Fallout series, which also features a postapocalyptic setting.

The sequel is now available on Steam for PC, Linux, and Mac.
