Forget cleanliness — godliness must be close to, oh, about 150,000,000.
That’s how many downloads the mobile games Doodle God, Doodle Devil, Doodle Farm, Doodle Kingdom, and Doodle Kingdom (which have free and pay versions) have received. The games, from developer JoyBits, are puzzle-based experiences with sandbox elements that inhabit the huge and growing mobile industry.
“The best is yet to come,” stated Paul Baldwin, chief executive officer of JoyBits, in a press release sent to GamesBeat. “We anticipate tremendous revenue and profit growth over the next 12 months, capped by the launch of highly anticipated and completely re-imagined Doodle God 2 next year.”
Joybits’ newest game, the free-to-play Doodle God Planet for Windows phones and Windows 8 devices, has received over 1 million downloads in its first month. Doodle God and Doodle Devil are also both receiving updates that will add new gameplay modes.
