Apple launches iPad mini 3, available for preorder today, older iPad mini now $249

Apple today announced the iPad mini 3, an upgraded 7.9-inch iPad mini tablet, now available in gold.

Apple shares that the iPad mini 3 will retail for $399 with 16GB of storage, $499 for 64GB of storage, and $599 for 128GB of storage. And with today’s update, the older iPad mini 2 is now available for $100 less, starting at $249.
