Capcom’s sprung an early morning surprise, revealing that Street Fighter V is coming exclusively to PlayStation 4 and PC.

The latest in the long-running fighting series has no release date yet, and the only details are from a teaser trailer Capcom posted on YouTube this morning. The moody trailer intersperses in-game shots with images of pro players, collectors, and kids playing the game in arcades. The video is now set as ‘private,’ but we managed to capture a couple of images from it, one of which reveals that the game is “exclusively on PS4 and PC.”

The trailer is available on another YouTube channel right now, but it may not be up for long.

It’s not clear if there is an exclusivity period on the game, after which it will also head to Microsoft’s Xbox One. If Sony has secured total console exclusivity on Street Fighter V, it will be a big coup for the Japanese gaming giant. It will also likely upset Xbox One gamers in the same way that the August reveal of action title Rise of the Tomb Raider as a timed Xbox One exclusive upset PS4 owners.

GamesBeat has reached out to Capcom for further details on Street Fighter V, and we’ll update this post when we hear back.
