Few things are more romantic than a speedrun of the obscure Nintendo 64 platforming game Mischief Makers. It is so romantic that it even encouraged the man running the game to propose to his girlfriend.

Mischief Makers speedrunner Jackafur paused during a lengthy cutscene to say a few things. He thanked some friends before pulling out a ring and asking his fellow speedrunner Kittyrawr to marry him. Naturally, she said yes in near record time.

Thankfully, the whole thing was broadcasted live on the video website Twitch as part of the multi-day Awesome Game Done Quick event which is raising money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. The event has raised more than $400,000 for cancer, and it has also bonded a couple in love — so, that’s not bad for a bunch of kids playing some games.
