REDMOND, Wash. — Following the release of preview builds of Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system for desktops in the past few months, Microsoft next month will come out with its first build of the OS for mobile devices.
The mobile release will come “after the Seahawks win the Super Bowl,” that is, said Terry Myerson, executive vice president of Microsoft’s Operating Systems group, at a Microsoft press event on Windows 10 today.
Myerson did not announce an official release date for the entire Windows 10 operating system.
