Twitter is breaking out analytics tool Answers into its own product to give more people access to the data — not just devs.

Answers, which tracks app downloads attributed to Twitter, is one of the tools inside its developer suite Fabric. The tool is currently a downloadable add-on within Twitter’s app-testing dashboard, Crashlytics.

As its own tool, Answers becomes available to people who don’t need to download the whole Crashlytics dashboard. This means people in other areas of a company (marketing, for example) will be able to see Answers data without having to track down a developer.

Twitter has been toying with various ways to make the five-month-old tool more available. In December, the company started offering Answers as a free download within Crashlytics. Its tactics seem to be working; Twitter says the feature is already hosting 5 billion sessions a day.
