T-Mobile is set to unveil its latest “Uncarrier” update today at a live event in New York. The event kicks off at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT.

The “Uncarrier” slogan represents T-Mobile’s strategy to uproot the frustrating ways mobile carriers restrict and overcharge users in the U.S. It’s also a great marketing ploy for T-Mobile, which lags behind market leaders AT&T and Verizon.
T-Mobile announced Data Stash at its last Uncarrier event, a feature that enables users roll over their unused data for later use. Earlier this week, T-Mobile extended that offering to pre-paid customers.
