Not two years after the last Steve Jobs biopic, there is already a new one hitting theaters this October.
Sony Pictures has just released the trailer for Steve Jobs, based on Walter Isaacson’s biography of the Apple guru.
The film, written by Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network, Charlie Wilson’s War), features Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs and Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak. Kate Winslet will play early Apple employee Joanna Hoffman.

Though this is not the first Steve Jobs biopic to hit the big screen, it certainly has a lot of potential to blow its predecessor Jobs out of the water. According to film critic site Rotten Tomatoes, Jobs, which came out in 2013, “has the feel of an over-sentimentalized made-for-TV biopic.” That film featured Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs and Josh Gad as “Woz.”
