Twitter is launching a new version of Answers, its mobile analytics solution, which now allows developers to track specific actions and events in real-time so they’ll know how users are behaving within their app.

Called Answers Events, this feature can help analyze which actions are having the most impact and can be tailored to track something specific to a particular use case. Twitter says that custom events can be created and are built right into the Answers dashboard.

Twitter wants to give developers a clear picture about what’s going on with their application. If you’re not certain about what you want to track, Answers Events will provide you with some recommendations. The dashboard will also automatically highlight top events and present a “sparkline” to demonstrate how well an event is performing now. All events are ranked by impact so you know how often a purchase is being made, when a sign-up or log-in has occurred, and more.

This is the latest upgrade to Answers. It was originally part of the Crashlytics dashboard, but in February the company unbundled things and made it a part of its developer suite Fabric. It already hosts more than 5 billion sessions a day.

To enable Answers Events, Twitter says you can enable it within your Answers dashboard. The company also shared that more features and upgrades are coming over the “coming months”.
