It’s time for some hyper-violent Japanese cartoons from the 1980s — only, we’re all out of those. So let’s just settle for a new video game inspired by hyper-violent Japanese cartoons from the 1980s.

Galak-Z is a new PlayStation 4 roguelike(likelikelike?) that’s out right now for $20. And after reading our review (which you can check out right here), I had to try out the game for myself. So I called up GamesBeat writer Mike Minotti, and I forced him to watch me give the game a go.
