NBA 2K16 sells over 4 million copies in one week

Publisher 2K revealed today that NBA 2K16 has already sold over four million copies worldwide just a week after its release, setting a new milestone for the franchise. This shows that fans are happier than ever to pay for the newest release in a yearly sports franchise, as long as it’s good. The basketball game is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

NBA 2K16 also doubled sales of digital-downloads compared to last year, showing that more people are buying games from the convenience of home via digital stores instead of purchasing physical copies.
