I’ll probably never visit Australia because I’ve seen pictures of its spiders, but that’s what video games are for.

Microsoft has showed off Forza Horizon 3 at its media briefing leading up to the Electronic Entertainment Expo tradeshow in Los Angeles. The racing game takes place in an open world set in the land down under and will feature four-player cooperative gaming. This is also part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program that enables gamers to buy the game once and play it on both their Xbox One console or their Windows 10 PC on September 27. It will also feature cross-play between those systems so you can play with your friends whether they prefer a couch and a controller or a desk and a PC racing wheel.

Developer Playground Games director Ralph Fulton demonstrated some of the co-op gameplay, where players on a variety of setups raced against one another throughout the Australian countryside. The game looks beautiful, and the cross-play increases the chances you’ll find a friend to play along with.
