Jesse Divnich, a well-known thinker in mobile games, has joined Montreal-based game company Hibernum as vice president of product.
Divnich, who formerly worked at mobile game publisher Tilting Point in New York, will oversee and shape Hibernum’s global portfolio strategy.
Divnich appeared recently on our mobile game influencers panel for a GamesBeat Roadshow in New York.
“Jesse brings unique and valuable expertise to Hibernum as we continue to expand our global footprint in mobile, as well as PC, console, and emerging platforms,” said LouisRené Auclair, the chief brand officer of Hibernum, in a statement. “Many publishers, developers, and investors have relied on Jesse to refine their product strategy and launch planning practices; we welcome Jesse to the team as Hibernum now competes on more platforms and in more markets than ever before.”

Before joining Tilting Point, Divnich was a well-known analyst at EEDAR, a video game research firm.

Founded in 2005, Hibernum has focused on cross-platform games, which it developed for companies such as Cartoon Network, D3 Go!, DeNA, Disney, Eidos, Halfbrick, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WBIE), and Wooga. Recent projects include Magic: The Gathering Puzzle Quest, TransGalactic Tournament, and Bruce Lee: Enter the Game.
