If you’re making a licensed game, you’re pretty happy if it’s for Disney’s latest animated hit.
Developer Hibernum announced today that its crime-busting mobile game Zootopia Crime Files: Hidden Object has become the No. 1 most downloaded free iPad app in more than 40 countries (including the U.S.) since its launch on August 18. Thanks to the branding of the popular Disney movie, this adventure set in a world where all animals live together in a modern city is becoming a hit in the $36 billion mobile market. It’s available for iOS and Android.
Zootopia made over $1 billion in the worldwide box office this year, making it one of the most successful animated movies of all time. The game has players solving crimes and puzzles.
