Apple has released the seventh public beta of its forthcoming mobile operating system, iOS 10. The update arrives just one week after the release of the company’s sixth public beta, and less than two weeks after the fifth public beta. To quote BGR, “this is getting a little bit ridiculous.”
If you’re into relentless beta updates that just might render your device (or a favorite app) useless, you can join Apple’s beta program here. And if you’ve already signed up, head on over to Settings > General > Software Update to grab the latest beta. Cryptically, Apple simply says this update “contains bug fixes and improvements.” We haven’t detected any noteworthy changes.
As my colleague Jordan Novet detailed last week, “the final version of iOS 10 is due out this fall, along with new iPhones and reportedly also a new MacBook Pro and a new Apple Watch — with macOS replacing the OS X operating system for Macs and watchOS 3 for the Watch.”
