Confirming an earlier report, Apple sent out media invitations today for an October 27 event with a classically vague tagline.

“Hello again,” the invite reads, like a nod to a dusty, long-neglected product line.

Apple’s MacBook Pros haven’t received a major update in years, but they’re expected to star in the last-minute October event. Bloomberg reports that the MacBook Pro line will undergo significant changes, including a thinner design and the addition of a small, touch-enabled display on the keyboard (to replace the laptop’s top row of function keys).

Updated iMacs are also apparently in the works.
