UPDATE: We're extending the deadline to 12:00 P.M. PST, on Monday, February 1, 2011. We want to give the community one last chance to submit their favorite articles before the voting starts.
We’ve posted the most-read community stories of the year (for part one: click here, and for part two: click here). Now we want to know which articles you, the community, loved.
Post a link and why it’s your favorite in the comments, and sometime in the next week, we’ll let the community vote for some conventional and not-so-conventional awards (categories to be determined).
Please follow these simple rules when nominating an article.
You can:
- Nominate any article written by a community member.
- Nominate more than one article.
- Nominate your own article.
- Suggest a category in which your nomination may be applicable. Some suggestions: funniest article, best article featuring Nolan North, best review, best article written for screen or theatre, or simply best article.
- Staff posts are ineligible, but you can nominate a post by a current staffer that they wrote before they joined. (For example you may nominate any article by Jeff Grubb published prior to November 20, 2010…if you are confused, just post it anyway, and we’ll figure it out).
The nominations close at 12:00 P.M. PST, on Monday, February 1, 2011.
Keep in mind: We’re looking for the most creative, the funniest, and the most insightful community articles from 2010. We can’t guarantee that your nomination will make the short list for any category, but all submissions will be considered.
