You actually can get a squire in World of Warcraft, though they are somewhat horrifically labeled as "pets." They aren't good for much unless your fantasy experience isn't complete without some small boy running after you everywhere you go. Maybe one would make a good sidekick for our hero? Then again, maybe not.
