Daniel Abadi is the Darnell-Kanal Professor of Computer Science at University of Maryland, College Park and Chief Scientist at Starburst. Abadi's research is focused on database system architecture and implementation, especially at the intersection with scalable and distributed systems. He received his PhD in 2008 from MIT.
