Before joining VentureBeat, I covered video games for 1UP, Electronic Gaming Monthly, and Next Generation. I also did a stint at Sega and learned what it was like to make video games, not just write about them.
I grew up in and around Silicon Valley, and I’ve worked here for almost 20 years. I have close friends and family members with ties to major companies like Facebook, Google, Twitter, and others.
