I’m VentureBeat’s “early-stage startup girl,” among other things. Much of the time, you’ll find me at demo days, meeting tiny startups, and spending a big chunk of my time writing about funding. Gotta follow that money. (Email is in the red icon above.)
But I have a wide range of interests when it comes to tech, so don’t be surprised if one moment I’m testing out a gadget and writing about social media the next.
Before joining the team, I dipped my feet into a few corners of the tech industry, with communications and people as the common themes. And before that, I studied a bunch of social sciences at UC Berkeley. That’s also where I got the journalism bug as I spent my senior year writing for our student paper.
In my free time, you can find me roaming around San Francisco, going to museums, staying away from the Kool-Aid, and spending way too much time on Twitter.
