One in five new TVs sold are 4K, which boasts four times the number of pixels as high-definition TVs. And now there’s a new generation of 4K organic light-emitting diode (OLED) TVs coming from the likes of LG and Panasonic.

The companies showed off new OLED 4K TV models today at their press events at the 2016 International CES, the big tech trade show in Las Vegas.

Panasonic is building a whole ecosystem around 4K TVs and the 4K Premium technology.

To be certified 4K Premium, a TV has to meet specs such as image resolution of 3820 x 2160 pixels, 10-bit color depth, wide color gamut, and high dynamic range.
