ChatRoulette is an idea that just won’t die. The idea of spontaneously connecting with strangers for social interactions has taken on several iterations since the original’s debut. Chatible caught our attention earlier this year, and most recently there’s Quizdom, which this week makes its debut on our 5 bots to try list.
However, unlike ChatRoulette, where things got sexually explicit quickly, Quizdom keeps things clean by matching you with strangers to compete over trivia and puzzles. I gave it a try and was connected with Melina. Quizdom asked me the square root of 484 and gave me 45 seconds to answer:

It was launched in 2014 in Greece and became the most successful Greek app ever, being 30+ straight days Number 1 at the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, at the same time. It currently has its own prime-time TV-show, which runs in its second season.
