CES — the International Consumer Electronics Show — is the place where gadget makers go to flaunt their latest wares.

Most of the hardware on display doesn’t captivate, but a fraction of the showcase is quite interesting, quirky, useful, and sometimes even downright bizarre.

Here’s a brief selection of the most interesting gadgets we’ve discovered so far. But allow us to clarify one thing: Some of the ideas below are crazy, some are awesome, and some are a little of both.
