Activision unveiled today a new version of Call of Duty — Infinite Warfare. Arriving November 4, the deluxe version also comes with a classic remake, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. The timing was set for 9 a.m. Pacific time this morning, but an accidental release of the video prompted Activision to release its own official high-definition video early.

We’ve posted a couple of stories on both games, and now we’ve got the video patched in below. The video is targeted square at the community of 40 million monthly active players excited about the next installments in the annual franchise, which has generated more than $15 billion over the past decade.

Over the weekend, Activision Blizzard released a bunch of teasers for Infinite Warfare. Now the video clearly shows that many of the leaks were correct, as the fighting takes place in space and depicts combat with the Settlement Defense Front. The Front has launched a surprise attack, and things are not going so good on Earth. It also shows Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered as a new title accompanying the main game.

The trailer is dramatic, with massive surprise attacks in cities such as Geneva, Switzerland. Spaceships hover overhead, and defenders launch their own ships into space to combat the attackers. A new version of David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” song plays in the background. The trailer closes with some kind of nuke going off, and then it shows the video of the high-definition version of Modern Warfare, which originally came out in 2007.

In the Nuk3town multiplayer map in Call of Duty Black Ops III, Activision released several teasers for Infinity Ward’s new Call of Duty video game coming this fall. The trailer evidently shows that Activision and Infinity Ward have abandoned the storyline of Call of Duty: Ghosts, the 2013 game that was widely panned by critics and sold relatively poorly compared to other Call of Duty titles.

Now there’s a new video of the action in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Check it out below.
