On Apple’s big day, you can get a Moto 360 for $179 — in case you’re into that sort of thing.
Motorola’s flagship smartwatch, the Moto 360, received a significant price cut today on Amazon and Best Buy — the same day hordes of Apple fans rushed to preorder the coveted Apple Watch.
Apple’s new smartwatch is priced between $349 and $17,000, but you can pick up a Moto 360 for as low as $179, down 28 percent from the original launch price of $250.
The higher-end Moto 360 got a comparable price cut, too. The all-metal version now costs between $220 and $229 (depending on where you buy), down 23 to 26 percent from the $299 launch price.
This isn’t the first time the Moto 360 has received a price cut, but it appears to be the most significant discount to date. The timing makes quite a bit of sense, given the impending Apple Watch launch and recent Moto 360 2 rumors.
