Amazon announced on its developer blog today that high-quality display ads from the Amazon Mobile Ad Network can now be incorporated into iOS. Before, developers on the network were only able to host ads on Android or Fire OS devices, according to 9to5 Mac.

Interstitial and banner ads can both be integrated into iOS starting today. The option will be available beginning July 25 for Fire phone users.

This is big news for companies that rely on the Amazon Mobile Ad Network for ad revenues.

In addition to expanding the availability of the network to iOS, Amazon has announced that it’s broadening its horizons internationally. Companies in Italy and Spain will soon be able to integrate network ads across Android and iOS. The Amazon Mobile Ad Network is serving the U.S., U.K., France, and Germany as of today.

Amazon Mobile Ads API for developers originally debuted back in March 2013, but it was only available in the U.S.

Members of the Amazon Mobile Ad Network get paid based on ad impressions served instead of clicks on ads. Android and iOS apps that integrate the Amazon Mobile Ads API don’t need to be distributed through the Amazon Mobile App Distribution Program.
