It feels like market-leading cloud provider Amazon Web Services just wrapped up its most recent re:Invent conference Las Vegas. But today, just three months after that, Amazon announced the dates of the 2015 re:Invent show: Oct. 6-9. It’ll happen at the Venetian in Las Vegas.
Don’t worry about getting your credit card out yet — registration will begin in May. But you probably will want to reserve some time in your calendar to at least pay attention to the keynotes during the livestream, if not attend the conference physically.
(Update: Amazon started taking registrations on May 12. Sign up here.)
After all, Amazon continues to beat out a long list of public cloud competitors, including Microsoft, Google, IBM, Joyent, and VMware.

At last year’s re:Invent show, Amazon executives announced a slew of services, including the EC2 Container Service, the Aurora database engine, the CodeCommit and CodePipeline services, the Service Catalog service, new C4 cloud instances, and perhaps most importantly the Lambda event-driven computing service.
VentureBeat will, of course, be reporting the news coming out of re:Invent 2015 — and other Amazon cloud news leading up to the show. So stay tuned.
