Amazon has introduced yet another Prime membership perk, as the internet giant pushes ahead with its mission to make the annual subscription too good to ignore.

Arriving for U.S.-based subscribers, from today, Amazon Prime now comes with Audible Channels, a recently launched short-form audio service that pulls directly from Audible’s vast library, as well as a “rotating selection of more than 50 audiobooks,” according to an announcement.

Audible introduced Audio Channels back in July, and they have been available through the Audible apps on mobile and desktop. They’re essentially podcasts and original programming covering a broad range of genres, including comedy, lectures, and audio versions of articles written in mainstream publications, with curated playlists thrown in for good measure.

Before now, Audible Channels were available through an in-app subscription that cost $5 a month or $59 per year, but now the feature will be bundled in with the $99 annual Prime membership, which includes Prime Video, Prime Music, and one-hour deliveries, among other perks.

Amazon acquired Audible for $300 million back in 2008 and has run it as a separate standalone service for those seeking audiobooks to listen to on the go. There are already integrations across Amazon’s suite of products, including Audible, so it’s not entirely surprising to see it pulled further into the Prime mix.
