Apple said today that its iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 tablets (both with cellular networking available) will become available in China this week.

The iPad Air 2 will support multiple cellular network flavors, including TD and FDD LTE, TD-SCDMA, DC-HSDPA, HSPA+, giving users access to fast mobile broadband in China and while they travel.

The iPad mini 3 models with cellular connections support both TD and FDD LTE.

The iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 are currently available in more than 110 countries worldwide including China, the US, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Russia, Singapore and the UK.

The iPad Air 2 and mini 3 were announced October 16 at an event at Apple headquarters.

The iPad Air 2 is 18 percent thinner than the original iPad Air, and Apple claims it is the world’s thinnest tablet (two iPad Air 2s on top of each other are thinner than the original iPad). More specifically, it is just 6.1mm thick.

The iPad mini 3 is the successor to the iPad mini with Retina. Its Apple’s third 7.9-inch tablet.
