Today Apple sent out press invites confirming an October 16 event where it is rumored to debut upgrades to its iPad and iMac line. The invite, sarcastically, reads that “it’s been way too long.”
Apple is rumored to launch a new, thinner iPad Air at the upcoming event. Further fueling iPad Air upgrade rumors, purportedly leaked iPad Air 2 photos emerged earlier today. These photos depicted a device nearly as thin as the iPhone 6, with a Touch ID fingerprint reader, and a missing lock button.
