Apple’s home-grown mapping service now powers the company’s “Find My iPhone” feature on beta.iCloud.com.

When Apple Maps launched, Google continued providing mapping services for the “Find My iPhone” feature as well as for other Apple products. Now, Apple is rolling out its own solution, 9to5Mac reports, further stripping away Google’s influence on Apple products.

We’ve only seen the change ourselves on iCloud’s beta site, although, according to 9to5Mac, it’s already rolling out to iCloud.com as well. We’ve reached out to the company for confirmation of the wider roll-out.
