Beginning in September, you can use Apple Pay to enter a national park, Apple chief Tim Cook says.

This new partnership with the federal government may also manifest within Social Security and veteran benefits.

The announcement came during Cook’s speech at the White House Cybersecurity Summit taking place at Stanford University this morning. The majority of Cook’s message focused on the importance of ensuring data privacy for consumers.

“People have entrusted us with their most personal and precious information. We owe them nothing less than the best protections we can possibly provide,” he said. Interestingly, Cook failed to mention the iCloud hack from late last year in his remarks.
