Apple today rolled out the second version of the public beta of iOS 10, the next version of its operating system for iPhones, iPads, and the iPod Touch.
This release follows the introduction of the original public beta on July 7 and the launch of iOS 10 at Apple’s WWDC conference in June.

To get the updated public beta, you can open up Settings, hit Software Update, and hit Download and Install. To install, you’ll need to have your iOS device connected to a power source or have at least 50 percent battery life.

Of course, you don’t need to use the beta version of iOS 10. You can wait till the final version of the operating system comes out, which will happen in the fall. Also around that time, Apple is expected to release the next iPhones.
Update at 11:58 a.m. Pacific: In addition to the iOS 10 public beta update, Apple has also released the second public beta of macOS Sierra. If you’ve already signed up for the public beta, you can install this new version from the Updates section of the Mac App Store.
