Contest: Your predictions for Apple’s tablet

Contest: Your predictions for Apple’s tablet

tabletposterIt’s now confirmed by the Wall Street Journal, which means it’s true. Apple will debut a tablet computer of some sort on January 27th. It will have a 10″ or 11″ touchscreen.

But what will make this Apple gadget unique and special beyond the iMac and iPhone? We’re looking for very specific details on what you think will wow us. Not just “a new way to read newspapers,” but a specific detail of how that app will rock our socks.

Remember the first time you saw someone pinch a Web page on the iPhone? Remember when iTunes suddenly sprouted a music store with all four of the biggest labels providing singles for sale at 99 cents? We’re looking for you to get specific on one special It Just Works detail that all other tablet makers wouldn’t think of trying to bring to market.

Post your comments here or mail them to me at paul@venturebeat.com. The best guess of what Apple will unwrap, plus the best idea that Apple doesn’t show, will be acknowledged on the 27th, three minutes after Steve concludes his demo, and cross-posted to our syndication spot in the middle of the New York Times’ Technology homepage. Sorry, no free tablet for you. But loads of Whuffie.
