Apple’s streaming box just got four new apps, including 24-hour live programming from Disney-owned ABC News.

PBS Kids, AOL On, and Willow are the other three, 9to5Mac reports. The new PBS Kids app complements Apple TV’s existing PBS app. Interestingly, ABC’s Apple TV app will feature content curated specifically for the Apple device, according to the company’s press release:

From entertainment news and politics to original programming like ABC News’ “Second Tour” and GoodMorningAmerica.com’s “GMA Live,” Apple TV offers a editorially curated selection of the top stories and videos that are continuously updated throughout the day.

Disney’s presence on the Apple TV is not new; the conglomerate owns content in numerous other Apple TV apps, including the History Channel, A&E, the Disney Channel, ESPN, and the similarly named Watch ABC app (which is not free).

For the Apple TV’s hyper-controlled ecosystem of apps, an addition of this size is a pretty big deal.
