Aviary redesigns its iOS photo editing dev tools after processing 10B photos last year

Aviary, a developer-centric startup that powers the photo editing features in more than 7,000 apps, just relaunched its iOS SDK (software development kit).

This move comes as the company passes the 10 billion mark for photos edited over the last 12 months, Aviary claims. The startup has grown 10 times in size since 2012. New SDK features include a revamped design, 64-bit support, additional monetization options, and upgrades to previously existing functionality like design customization.

If you’re not a developer, you can still give Aviary’s tools a try: The company also makes a separate standalone app that goes by the same name on iOS and Android.
