Bethesda held its own press conference at the Electronic Entertainment Expo for the first time ever last year, and the company has announced that it is returning to Los Angeles to do that once again in 2016.
Bethesda will hold its E3 Showcase on Sunday, June 12 — before the start of one of the industry’s largest trade shows. The event will kick off at 7 p.m. Pacific time with a preshow beginning at 6:15 p.m. E3 is the biggest news week of the year for games, and Bethesda seems like it is going to use this as a platform to maintain its momentum in the $99.3 billion gaming industry. In 2015, the company came out strong by debuting Fallout 4, and we’ll see if it’ll try to top that this time around.
If you can make it out to Los Angeles, the publisher is inviting fans to sign up to guarantee a seat for the presentation. If you’d rather stay home, however, you can also watch a livestreaming broadcast without having to bathe or put on human clothes. After the event, Bethesda will host an after-party with demos, interviews, and refreshments.
Bethesda did not share any details about the games it’s going to talk about. It only just released Fallout 4 in fall last year, so it’s likely too early for the next game from that core team. Instead, we can probably expect to see new content for that open-world role-playing game, along with some completely new games.
